How long does it take for a release to be published?

Updated yesterday

Once your press release is submitted and payment is confirmed, publication typically happens within a few hours, but exact timing depends on several factors:

Standard Turnaround Times:

  • Typical turnaround: 2–6 hours

  • During high volume periods: Up to 12–24 hours

  • For scheduled releases: Will go live at your selected time (or as close as possible)

What Affects Publication Speed?

  • Time of day submitted: PRs submitted during regular business hours (EST) are typically published faster.

  • Content review: Some publishers manually review content. If your release contains sensitive topics, it may require extra review time.

  • Network size: If you selected a large distribution package with many publishers, it may take longer for the full syndication to complete β€” though most key placements happen early.
